Roof Replacement on Toluca Dr in League City, TX

About This Project

June 2024 on a two-story in League City's 77573. The homeowner chose the CertainTeed 5-Star warranty, and the roof was permitted, built to the windstorm standard and inspected.

Structurally this is a steep hip-and-gable hip roof carrying a brick chimney and a bay window roof. Full tear-off, new flashing, new boots and vents, a charcoal laminate and capped hips.

The 5-Star tier and the windstorm certificate together give a League City homeowner the strongest paperwork a roof can have: a 25-year workmanship warranty and a state inspection.

The bay window roof on this house is its own small project: a shallow hip over the dining room with three short ridges meeting at a point. Bay roofs collect leaves and are usually where a League City roof shows its first rust at the flashing. It was rebuilt with new step flashing behind the siding and a single piece of ridge cap at the peak.

Five photos show the house and the finished roof.
