Roof Replacement on Sweet Birch Ln in Houston, TX

About This Project

A referral from a past customer brought us to this one-story brick home in Houston's 77041 in October 2025. The homeowner's one request was to keep debris off the potted plants and the back landscaping, so the crew tarped the beds and moved the pots before the tear-off.

The roof is a hip-and-gable with a chimney at the back. It was re-shingled in a driftwood laminate with new ridge cap, new pipe boots and a reset turbine.

Protecting landscaping is a planning job, not a clean-up job. The crew sets the dump trailer on the side of the house with the least planting, tarps the beds under the eaves, and drops tear-off from the ridge toward the trailer rather than over the back. The magnet sweep at the end is the last step, not the only one, and on this job the pots went back exactly where they started.

Photos show the ridge and hips from the roof and the chimney at the rear.
