Roof Replacement on Ridge Bank Ln in Houston, TX

About This Project

September 2025 on a two-story brick home in Houston's 77041. The lead note on this one was about the gutters: they were thin and bent easily under a ladder, so the crew worked from the roof and replaced the gutters and screens once the shingles were finished.

During tear-off we photographed the old valley metal, step and L flashing and the furnace vent flashing, all of which were replaced. The roof itself is a charcoal laminate over new synthetic underlayment.

The tear-off photos serve two purposes. They document the hidden metal that the homeowner never sees, and they prove what was replaced if a question ever comes up years later. Valley metal, step flashing and the furnace vent flashing are the three details that most often get reused by a low-bid crew, which is why we photograph them going in the trailer.

Pictures show the finished slopes with the surrounding two-story homes and the new gutters along the eaves.
