About This Project
February 2025 on a two-story in Sugar Land's First Colony, 77478. This one came from a door knock after a hail event; the rep was already on the street for a neighbor.
Structurally this is a hip roof carrying a front gable and a brick chimney. The replacement itself covered new flashing and boots, a gray laminate with capped ridges.
First Colony's 1980s two-stories have steep front gables that take the brunt of a northwest hail cell, and that is where the damage on this one was concentrated.
Seven photos show the ridge, the gable and the house from the street.
