About This Project
August 2026 on a two-story in Sugar Land's 77479. The ventilation was reworked: two old turtle vents came off and four pieces of ridge vent went on, along with an 8-inch and a 16-inch four-way vent on the 9/12 slope.
The rest of the spec: 2-inch drip edge, a 3-inch HVAC flashing, two 1.5-inch, one 2-inch and one 3-inch bullet boots. The unused satellite dish came down for good.
A 9/12 pitch is harness work for the whole crew. The roof took two days with the steeper slopes done in the cooler morning hours.
Four photos show the ridge vent and the steep slopes.
