Roof Replacement on Pleasant Creek Dr in Houston, TX

About This Project

A Kingwood home on Pleasant Creek Drive in 77345, replaced in August 2026. Kingwood roofs live under a heavy tree canopy, and this one shows it: the photos were taken from the ridge with pine and oak limbs just above the crew. Debris, shade and moss are the long-term issues on roofs here, which is why we favor a shingle with algae resistance in this part of Houston.

The house has a brick chimney on the main slope and a gable addition at the back, both of which were re-flashed during the replacement. The gray-brown architectural shingle picks up the brick color, and the ridge caps were run continuously across the hips and the gable.

Kingwood is at the edge of our regular service area, but we are there often enough that we know which streets flood their gutters every fall. If you are weighing a repair against a replacement under this kind of canopy, the free inspection is the honest place to start.
