About This Project

A one-story home on Nathan's Cove in 77089, southeast Houston, re-roofed in July 2026 with CertainTeed Landmark Pro Max Def shingles in Weathered Wood. The Pro line is a heavier shingle than the standard Landmark, and the Max Def color process gives it the deeper shading you can see in the close-up photo.

Along with the shingles, the house got new 5-inch seamless gutters in Desert Sand to match the trim. Gutters are usually replaced after a roof rather than before, because the drip edge needs to go on first and the old gutters are almost always bent during tear-off.

The rooftop photos show the finished field, the new box vents on the rear slope, and the ridge detail. A detached shed on the property was not part of this job, which is normal: outbuildings are quoted separately so the homeowner can decide on each one.
