About This Project

A two-story home on Colony Hurst Trail in Spring 77373, replaced in April 2025 with Weathered Wood architectural shingles. The main roof is a 10/12 pitch, steep enough that the crew works it entirely from toe boards, and the rooftop photos were taken from the ridge looking down.

Scope followed our standard replacement spec for this pitch: four sections of ridge vent, an 8-inch four-way intake vent on the steep slope, eight three-in-one pipe jacks, a 3-inch and a 4-inch HVAC jack, a new dryer vent and 1.5-inch drip edge around the perimeter. The satellite dish was removed.

This was the second roof we replaced on Colony Hurst Trail in six months. Homes on the street were built in the same wave, so when one reaches end of life the neighbors are usually close behind, and a referral from a few doors down is how most of our Spring work starts.
