About This Project
A one-story in Houston's 77065 roofed in April 2025 and closed out that September. The material list: CertainTeed Weathered Wood, synthetic underlayment, ice-and-water shield in the valleys, 1.5-inch drip edge, two turbines, two dome vents and new pipe jacks.
The brick chimney was re-flashed and a bathroom exhaust vent was added through the roof during the build. Surplus material was returned to the supplier after the job.
The gap between the April build and the September close is normal on a job with a material return. Once the roof is done we true up what was ordered against what went on the roof and send the unopened bundles back, and the file stays open until that is settled. The roof itself was finished and dried in on the first day.
