About This Project

March 2024 on a one-story in Richmond's Aliana area, 77407. The crew built it in a day; a second roof on the same street followed a year later.

The roof is a hip with a front gable and a dormer. Down to bare decking and back up with new flashing at the dormer, new boots and vents, a charcoal laminate and capped hips and ridge.

Aliana is new construction and this was the first replacement on the house. Builder roofs in the newer Richmond subdivisions are three-tab or thin laminate and they do not survive a Fort Bend hail season.
