About This Project
July 2024 on a large two-story brick home in Richmond's 77406, in Pecan Grove. At 49 squares with a pool house and a covered patio, this was a three-day build.
The house carries a steep hip hip roof with a front gable and several wall ties. After the tear-off the crew put on new flashing, new boots and vents, a charcoal laminate and capped hips. The pool house and patio cover were roofed to match. The homeowner's solar panels were left in place at their request.
Forty-nine squares is nearly double an average Houston roof, and the pool deck meant debris had to go off the front only. The crew staged two trailers.
