Roof Replacement on Fontana Way in League City, TX

About This Project

April 2025 on a two-story in League City's 77573 in CertainTeed Weatherwood. The homeowner arranged the roof directly and the crew built it in a day and a half.

Up top it is a hip design, a front gable and a brick chimney included. A clean tear-off came first; after it, new flashing, new boots and vents, capped hips and ridge, nailed to the windstorm pattern.

Weatherwood is the most-ordered color in our League City work. It sits between brown and gray and goes with the tan and red brick that dominates the newer subdivisions there.

Weatherwood on a two-story with a tall front gable is a safe choice because the color does not read as a block from the street the way black or slate does. The front of this house is mostly roof when you look at it from the curb, and the blend of brown and gray breaks it up. We brought the sample board to the driveway before ordering, which is standard for any roof that dominates the elevation.

Eight photos show the house and the finished roof.
