About This Project
A two-story brick home on Brook Grove Drive in Kingwood 77345, replaced in December 2025 with a gray-brown architectural shingle. The homeowner chose to remove the old roof dormers rather than reshingle them, so the crew decked over the openings and ran the main slope clean through, which you can see in the rear elevation photos.
Ventilation was rebuilt with 14 sections of ridge vent along the peaks. The crew replaced four pipe boots with lead, both HVAC jacks in two sizes, and installed 2-inch drip edge around the full perimeter. New 6-inch seamless gutters were hung after the roof to handle the heavy tree canopy that Kingwood lots are known for.
The photos are the walk-around after cleanup: the back patio and pool, the brick side elevation, the carport and the front of the house.
