About This Project
This 77040 home took storm damage in the summer of 2025 and the chimney was the weak point: water was getting in at the flashing. We tarped the chimney in July as an emergency stop and came back for the full replacement, which closed in November 2025.
The new roof is a light driftwood laminate over the whole two-story house, with the chimney flashing rebuilt from the deck up and new vents and pipe jacks throughout. Interior paint repair from the leak was done after the roof.
Photos show the rebuilt chimney flashing, the ridges and the view over the cul-de-sac.
