Roof Replacement on Hunters Shore Dr in Katy, TX

About This Project

A one-story brick home on Hunters Shore Drive in Katy 77494, replaced in November 2024 with CertainTeed Landmark shingles in Heather Blend and Shadow Ridge hip and ridge caps. The house has a bay window bump-out, a front gable over the entry and a covered patio, each of which ties into the main hip.

The crew's material list for this one tells the story: synthetic underlayment across the field, ice-and-water shield in the valleys, 1.5-inch drip edge around the perimeter, starter strip at every eave, 15 sections of ridge vent, nine three-in-one pipe jacks, a 6-inch four-way intake on the 10/12 section, three air hawk vents, two sheets of replacement decking, and new step and L flashing where the roof meets the walls.

A dome vent on the rear slope was replaced on a follow-up visit six months later under our workmanship warranty, at no charge. Standing behind the roof after the truck leaves is part of the price.
