Roof Replacement on Gainesway Dr in Cypress, TX

About This Project

A two-story home on Gainesway Drive in 77429 with white siding, a brick lower level, and a roof that is almost all dormers, gables and cut-up slopes. This is a demanding roof to shingle well because every dormer cheek and every intersection with the siding needs step flashing, and there is a full-height chimney on the side elevation that needed new counter flashing let into the brick.

The homeowner chose a dark gray architectural shingle, and the result is in the photos: a clean, even field across the front dormers and a sharp line where the roof meets the white trim. We replaced the drip edge and all the pipe boots, and lined every valley with ice-and-water shield before the shingles went down. The rear of the house opens onto a pool, so the crew tarped and netted that side during tear-off to keep debris out of the water.

This roof was installed under the manufacturer's extended warranty program, which requires the full component system and certified installation. We offer it on every full replacement we do in Cypress.
