About This Project
November 2024 in Missouri City's Quail Valley, 77459. The homeowner chose Owens Corning Duration in Aged Copper, a warm brown with red undertones that is unusual for this neighborhood and looks right against the tan brick.
The roof is a long one-story hip with a brick chimney and a side-entry garage. It was torn to the deck and re-shingled, and the gutters were replaced on a second visit once the drip edge was in.
Quail Valley was built out in the 1970s and 80s, and most of the roofs we see there are on their third or fourth cycle. The decking on this one was in good shape, which is not always the case on a house this age.
