About This Project
A referral from a past customer brought us to this two-story in Houston's Copperfield area, 77095, in May 2025. Referrals are most of what we do out here now; this is the fourth house on the same loop of streets.
It has a tall hip hip-style roof: a boxed chimney chase and second-story wall ties. The crew tore it to the deck, re-flashed the chase and the walls, and re-shingled in a driftwood laminate with a new ridge cap.
May is the start of storm season in Cy-Fair, so the tear-off was staged slope by slope with the dry-in following close behind. The whole roof was watertight before the afternoon clouds built.
Five photos show the finished slopes and the chase from the ridge.
