About This Project
November 2024 on a two-story stucco home in Bellaire, 77401. The house has travertine around the pool that would crack if a bundle landed on it, so the crew laid ten sheets of plywood across the deck and ran catch-all netting around the entire house before the first shingle came off.
The stucco is light-colored and the fence runs close to the eaves, so tear-off had to be controlled on every side. It added half a day of setup and saved a pool deck.
The roof itself is a hip with a front gable. The crew tore it to the decking and installed new flashing at the stucco walls, new boots and a charcoal laminate.
Six photos show the house and the finished roof.
