About This Project
November 2024 on a two-story in Friendswood, 77546, in Georgetown Gray. The homeowner financed the roof through our lending partner and the crew hand-measured the roof for the order, since there was no aerial report on file.
The geometry is a hip, a brick chimney on top of that. Down to bare decking and back up with new step and counter flashing at the chimney, new boots and a capped ridge.
Friendswood's older sections have mature oaks over the roofs, and the shade keeps the north slopes damp. Algae-resistant shingles are worth the small upcharge there, and Georgetown Gray hides streaking well.
Five photos show the chimney flashing and the slopes.
