About This Project

A one-story home on Cantrell Boulevard in Conroe 77301, replaced in January 2025 with Weathered Wood architectural shingles. Conroe is the north end of our service area, and this roof is a good example of the older-subdivision work we do there: a 7/12 pitch, a lot of penetrations, and ventilation that had never been right.

The crew installed ten sections of ridge vent across the peaks and two 8-inch four-way intake vents, replaced every plumbing boot with lead boots in three sizes, and fitted new 3-inch and 4-inch HVAC jacks. The old satellite dish came off with the old roof. New gutters were discussed and left for a later visit.

The rooftop photos were taken the afternoon of the install: the turbine vents and pipe boots on the front slope, the valley runs, and the hip lines at the back with the neighbors' roofs behind.
